Installing PowerBook Tweak

PowerBook Tweak is designed to be run all the time.  To automate this process, an alias to it should be placed in your Startup Items folder, so that it will run whenever you turn on our restart your PowerBook.  To create the alias, follow these steps...

1)  Move the PowerBook Tweak folder to wherever you want it to permanently reside.  Most people have a "Utilities" folder where they store their utilities, so you can place PowerBook Tweak there as well.
2)  Click on the PowerBook Tweak icon once to select it.
3)  From the File menu under the Finder, choose “Create Alias”.
4)  Drag the alias to the “Startup Items” folder, inside your “System Folder”.
5)  Restart!  PowerBook Tweak should start running automatically.

The PowerBook Control Panel

PowerBook Tweak duplicates the power conservation features of this control panel.  If you decide to use PowerBook Tweak, you should disable the PowerBook control panel. The simplest way to disable it is to remove it from your Control Panels folder and restart your PowerBook.
